As the days grow short and darkness sets in, join us to light the night with a Community Lantern Walk.

Meet at Will Thorne Pavilion on Friday 28 November at 4:30pm. We will depart for the walk at 4:45pm. After a short walk and group song, we will gather in the park for a warm drink and snack; ending approx. 6pm.

Free but please book one place per family so we know how many people to expect. Everyone welcome! Suitable for all ages. Come with or without children.

Itinerary

  • 4:30pm Meet at Will Thorne Pavilion Car Park (near the green shed/ electric box)

  • 4:45pm Depart for walk

  • 5:10pm Gather in the park for a warm drink and snack

  • 6:00pm Approx. end time

What to bring:

  • Homemade lantern, torch or light (please bring your own candle, lighter, led candle or glowsticks)

  • Mug for drinks (bring your own for your family)

  • Picnic blanket (optional)

  • Nut free food or bakes to share (optional)
