Join us for two days of outdoor learning, exploration and play— the Forest School way! Our Holiday Camp drop-off sessions are in Beckton District Park South. Suitable for children aged 6- 12 years old. The sessions will be led by a qualified level 3 Forest School leader, and supported by two assistants. All staff are DBS checked and at least one first aid trained.

LOCATION

Drop off at Will Thorne Pavilion Car Park on first day. Collection and subsequent drop off from our Forest School Base. The session will be held in Beckton District Park South with boundaries marked and communicated to participants.

Our sessions encourage children to explore their natural curiosity through facilitated activities and self-directed play and learning.  We run our Holiday Camp as a 2-day block to allow children to build deeper relationships with nature, with one another and with themselves, on their own terms. Bring a packed lunch both days!

£60 for 2-days of 4 hour sessions, that’s £7.50 per hour

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Learn about our group's ethos and what to expect from our sessions by reading our ground rules.

  • The session starts at 10am, please arrive on time.

  • By 10:30am we will get together for circle time which might include sharing how we're feeling, what we'd like to do, singing a song together and/or discussing our topic for the day.

  • The session will flow freely between facilitated activities and child-led play and learning. Different stations will be set up such as ropes and a mud kitchen.

  • The session will wrap up with another group circle and children must be collected at 2pm.

LOCATION

Meet at Will Thorne Pavilion Car Park on Tuesday and our Forest School Base on Wednesday.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please book one ticket per child. For children aged 6- 12 years only. Bookings for 5 year olds may be possible upon request, please email us to check availability.

If you book the then realise that you are unable to attend, you can cancel up to 5 days (120 hours) prior to the first session of your booking for a refund, minus a £10 fee to cover our payment processing and admin costs. If you cancel after this, we can only offer you a refund, minus a £10 fee, if we are able to fill your cancelled place— if we cannot fill your cancelled place we cannot offer a refund.

Cancellations must be made by email. Please send us an email if you cannot make it to any session. We expect this from all attendees whether they have paid a fee or have a bursary place.
